New 'Byzantium' Trailer Released

The newest trailer for Neil Jordan’s latest vampire thriller, Byzantium, just hit the web. The film stars Gemma Arterton, Saoirse Ronan, and Sam Riley. Arterton and Ronan play a mother and daughter vampire duo who agree to a deadly pact.

Gemma Arterton is most known for her roles in Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, the James Bond flick, Quantum of Solace, and the recent release Hansel and Gretel: Vampire Hunters. Saoirse Ronan starred alongside Eric Bana in Hanna, and Kiera Knightley in Atonement. Ronan also stars in the newest Stephanie Meyer book-turned-movie, The Host, due out later this year.

Director Neil Jordan is known for his 1994 vampire thriller Interview With A Vampire, starring Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise that gained a cult like following. In 1992, Jordan won a Best Screenplay Oscar for The Crying Game. It’s exciting to see Jordan try his hand at female vampire movie after the success of Interview With A Vampire.
