The career of 50 Cent may get a little boost as the rapper heads towards the cartoon world.
Fox Network is close to finishing a deal with Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, along with producer Randall Emmett and Imagine TV, for an animated comedy series based on the entertainer’s childhood.
The untitled project will center on a mischievous but ambitious kid, who frequently gets into trouble with his unconventional family and other children in his neighborhood.
Jackson and his partner Andrew Jameson, Emmett, and Imagine TV’s Brian Grazer and Francie Calfo will executive produce the series, which will be written by Carl Jones.
In 2005, Jackson’s autobiography, Get Rich Or Die Tryin, was loosely based on the rapper’s life before making it big in the entertainment world.
