Pregnant Kim Kardashian and baby daddy Kanye West have turned down a $3 million offer for the first photos of baby Kimye, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t willing to cash in on their unborn baby.
You’re probably thinking Kim has finally stopped making money a priority and refuses to sell her baby’s pictures to any tabloid because she wants to protect the well being of her innocent child… Okay, maybe not. But if you were thinking that, you’re terribly wrong (and apparently have never seen an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians).
After rejecting the $3 million baby photo offer, it was later revealed that the couple may consider other offers once the price gets a little higher.
Everyone knows pics of the baby Kardashian are in high demand and all the big name magazines are ready to write fat checks in order to get their hands on the pictures first – and Kimye knows that.
According to TMZ, sources revealed that “public demand will only increase over time” and the couple “might consider offers in the future.”
We wouldn’t be surprised if the egotistical rapper wanted to wait for an offer that tops Brangelina’s $4.1 million baby photo offer for Shiloh back in 2006. Regardless, they certainly won’t be able to top the whopping $14 million baby photo offer for a photo of their twins in 2008.
Even J. Lo topped $3 million for pics of her adorable tykes, accepting a $6 million offer for a photo of her twins.
With so many tabloids throwing out fat checks in hopes of getting pics of Kim’s baby, we can’t help but think that Kourtney might be a little jealous of her little sister.
Rumors already started suggesting that Khloe was jealous of Kim’s pregnancy since she’s been trying to get pregnant herself with no success.
Now, the middle Kardashian (and Kris Jenner’s favorite child) has raked in million dollar baby photo offers while Kourtney’s daughter Penelope’s baby photos were much less desirable.
“Kourtney’s second child isn’t such a big deal,” one editor said back when offers for Penelope’s baby pics were relatively low. “If it were Kim’s baby, it might be different, but with the exception of hardcore fans no one is waiting to see what Penelope looks like. She will be lucky if she gets $20,000 to $30,000 for the pictures.”
Well the editor was certainly right. Now that it’s Kim’s baby… the baby photo offers are through the roof.
Meanwhile, the soon to be parents did reveal that they have no plans of reality stardom for the baby.
Neither Yeezy nor Kimmy K wants to have the baby appear on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” or any other reality program – we’ll see how long that lasts.
We’re sure producers are ready to write a huge check if Kim allows them to film her birth.
Either way, we’re excited for the soon to be parents and hope that Kim will untie the knot with Kris Humphries soon so she can at least attempt to tie the knot with her baby’s father.
