Miley Cyrus and fiancé Liam Hemsworth sported some mysterious rings over the holidays that sparked rumors of a secret wedding.
The “Hunger Games” star proposed to Miley back in May of this year and photos of the pair with some brand new bling have caused speculation that the young couple tied the knot without the eye of the public.
It all started when Miley and Liam shared their holiday photos through social media and fans spotted the flashy black ring around Liam’s finger.
The former “Hannah Montana” star has also been spotted with some flashy new jewelry over the holidays as two new diamond bands have magically appeared around her 3.5 carat diamond ring that her boo gave her when he popped the question.
The rumors suggest that the secret wedding happened on Christmas day since Hemsworth hand was free of any bling when he was spotted out shopping on Christmas Eve.
When their Christmas pics hit the web however, the rumors started flying.
In every photo of Miley posing in footie pajamas with a fake Santa beard and hat, she was also sported her flashy new accessories.
With most of the celebs family members already being joined together for the holidays, it would be the perfect moment for the couple to get married without anyone catching on.
The 20-year-old country songstress met her boo while filming for the 2009 movie “The Last Song” and suddenly their on-screen chemistry in the romantic film was explained.
The Saturday before Christmas, Miley was obviously elated with her rumored husband when she tweeted, “Best day ever with my future husband.” Perhaps the future was much closer than her followers assumed.
Is there was a secret marriage between both of the big screen stars, it may finally put an end to fan’s fears that the couple might separate again.
Before getting engaged, the “Climb” songstress and the Australian actor called it quits… more than once.
In August of 2010 the pair announced they were going their separate ways, but about a month later they found their way back together again.
It was smooth sailing for the rest of 2010 and most of 2011 until they split up again in November of last year.
It seemed like the former Disney star just needed time to adjust to having a “serious” relationship since she did admit that Liam was her “first serious boyfriend” after her pre-teen relationships with Nick Jonas and Justin Gaston.
Despite the new bling on their ring fingers, it isn’t likely that they tied the knot considering the fact that rumors about their relationship have been flying since day one.
Miley had to squash rumors that she was going to have several weddings on Ellen DeGeneres in November.
“There’s some rumors going around that I’m having 47 weddings, I’m not,” she explained. “I’m having having one wedding, that’s my day, and whatever I want on that day it’ll be about me and that moment, that look of love.”
Also there is the perfectly reasonable explanation that perhaps the new jewelry were simply Christmas gifts that they gave to one another.
Not to mention the fact that Miley has never been one to want to hide from the cameras.
Meanwhile, as she celebrates her love with her soon-to-be (or already is) husband, her fans are raving about her cover to Dolly Parton’s “Jolene.”
The young songstress proved that she doesn’t need publicity stunts or gimmicks when it comes to music career, because she has pure talent.
Despite her young age, her vocals are mature and her range is impressive as she easily hit every note in her cover of her godmother’s hit song.
The performance was filmed for her “Backyard Sessions” in which she does covers of several songs, but “Jolene” definitely stood out among the rest.
