L.A. Reid Leaving ‘X-Factor’ For Good Reason

Fox’s hit show, The X Factor, loses judge, L.A. Reid. It is unknown who will replace Reid, but is known that he was not “let go” like a few other judges that won’t be named… (Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger).

L.A. Reid told Access Hollywood, “I have decided that I will not return to The X Factor next year.” The CEO and chairman of Epic Records went on to say, “I have to go back and I have a company to run that I’ve kind of neglected and it saddens me a little bit, but only a little bit.” L.A. Reid plans to return his full-focus back to his musicians.

L.A. Reid and Simon Cowell (executive producer) are the only two judges who have been with the show for both seasons of The X Factor.

It looks like the popular talent show may need to start the search for not only the replacement of L.A. Reid, but also Britney Spears and Demi Lovato. Both talented pop singers have not publicly announced if they will stay on as judges for season three. Maybe Simon Cowell is running off his colleagues with his sour attitude and too tight T’s? Just a thought.

Tune in to The X Factor season finale, Thursday, December 20 at 8 p.m. to say goodbye to the beloved judge, L.A. Reid.
