Take a Look At The FIrst 'Man of Steel' Poster

Warner Bros. has just released the first official poster for Man of Steel, starring Henry Cavil as the title role.

This comes as a promise from the studio in conjunction with interactive promotional campaign for the DVD release of The Dark Knight Rises.

The poster below features Superman in handcuff escorted by team of soldiers, which is immediately striking giving that Superman can break out of those cuff without even breaking a sweat.

Man of Steel is directed by Zack Snyder and stars Laurence Fishburne as editor-in-chief Perry White, and Amy Adams as Daily Planet journalist Lois Lane. Starring as Clark Kent’s adoptive parents, Martha and Jonathan Kent, are played by Diane Lane and Kevin Costner.

In addition to Clark Kent surviving the explosion of his home planet Krypton, villains General Zod (Michael Shannon), and Faora (Antje Traue)(Zod’s evil partner) use their powers to reign destruction on earth. Now, Clark Kent must become the Man of Steel to protect the people he loves and shine as the world’s beacon of hope – Superman.

Man of Steel is coming to 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D theaters on June 14.
