Rihanna dazzled onlookers at the GQ Men of the Year party last night in Los Angeles. As the magazine’s December covergirl, Rihanna showed up in an appropriate red dress and tweeted to followers: “Heading to my #GQ cover party #menoftheyear #and1women.”
The party, held at the Chateau Marmont, celebrated the magazine’s Men of the Year issue, which features Rihanna, 24, posing in a series of racy shots.
The event continued Rihanna’s promotional momentum, as the pop star builds hype for her upcoming album Unapologetic, which drops November 19. Rihanna was a featured performer at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show last week and performed on Saturday Night Live, showcasing two numbers from Unapologetic, current single “Diamonds” and the ballad, “Stay.”
Continuing the promotional hype, Madame Tussauds revealed two wax figures modeled after the singer on Tuesday, one at their branch in Las Vegas’s Venetian Hotel and another at the museum in Hollywood, CA. Both figures were inspired by her Loud tour, in which she frequently donned a red wig.
