Django Unchained has released a brilliant new poster, featuring Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx and Christoph Waltz looking mean and moody as they strike a pose.
A largely monochrome image, punctuated by a judicious splattering of blood, it shows all three primaries in full-on badass mode, while making a compelling case for the return of cowboy chic.
It’s also a recognisably Tarantino poster, from the B-movie font used for the title, to the pleasingly verbose tagline. “Life, liberty and the pursuit of vengeance” eh? Sounds good to us.
Written and directed by QT, and co-starring Kerry Washington, Walton Goggins and Samuel L. Jackson, Django Unchained opens in the UK on 18 January 2013.
