Donald Trump may have extended his deadline for President Obama to present his school records but he’s getting a fresh dose of criticism from an unlikely source.
Unfazed by becoming the laughing stock of social media after his “big announcement” flopped, Trump thought it best after the deadly Sandy hurricane ravaged the Northeast earlier this week to give the President some leeway in producing his school records and passport.
“Because of the hurricane, I am extending my 5 million dollar offer for President Obama’s favorite charity until 12PM on Thursday.”
Not surprisingly the tweet was met with harsh criticism.
@CalebRapoport tweeted, @realDonaldTrump He’s kinda busy right now you stupid f*cking idiot!!!
@StephenCWebster added, “RE @realDonaldTrump: How about just write the check to the Red Cross and stop being a dick about it? But maybe that’s just me.”
But even more disturbing than Trump continuing this charade were his comments just minutes prior on Twitter,
“Hurricane is good luck for Obama again- he will buy the election by handing out billions of dollars. Not only giving out money, but Obama will be seen today standing in water and rain like he is a real President — don’t fall for it.”
One celebrity didn’t hesitate to speak up, Beyonce’s sister Solange Knowles.
“Have one. A seat. Any seat. “@realDonaldTrump:Hurricane is good luck for Obama again-he will buy the election by handing out billions .”
Adding, “Since when is a hurricane good luck for anyone? How insensitive to say regarding a time with so much distress and agony. @RealDonaldTrump”
