Romany Malco signs on to star in the upcoming Jon Turteltaub comedy Las Vegas. Deadline reports that Malco will join previously cast Michael Douglas, Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, Devin Kline and Mary Steenburgen.
Turteltaub (National Treasure, Sorcerers Apprentice) has signed on to direct Las Vegas while Dan Fogelman prepared the script. The comedy film follows four childhood friends who hook up for a wild Las Vegas bachelor party, but old tensions crop up.
Malco will play a Vegas hotel concierge named Lonnie. Malco, who makes his bread and butter on TV shows like: The Good Wife, Unsupervised and Weeds also sports film credits that include 40 year-old Virgin, Blades of Glory and most recently in the box office giant Think Like A Man.
Las Vegas is being produced by Lawrence Mark, Amy Baer for CBS Films/Good Universe and is aiming for a December 20, 2013 release date.
