Ten will follow Arnold Schwarzenegger along with Sam Worthington, Terrence Howard, and Josh Hollway as DEA agents being taken down one by one after they rob a drug cartel safe house. One is fair to guess that Schwarzenegger’s character is a bit more on the straight and narrow, but seeing the former governor flashing forearm and neck tattoos sort of suggests otherwise.
Ten is currently filming with director David Ayer at the helm. Ayer is mostly known for his screenwriting abilities in the likes of such action flicks as The Fast and the Furious, Training Day, and Dark Blue. His directing skills are a bit more limited and less known. His most known work is 2008’s Street Kings and this year’s so-far-successful End of Watch. It’ll be interesting to see how he can utilize Arnold Schwarzenegger’s natural persona.
Surely, it’s good to see the iconic actor seeming to make a late return to form – in fact, it would be fair to say he’s never looked better this decade. Following The Expendables 2, the Governator has five total upcoming projects, all showcasing him doing what he does best: kick major butt. It almost seems as if he can’t wait to get back into blowing away bad guys after nesting in politics for so long.
While we’re all waiting, take a good look at Schwarzenegger’s most recent picture below. It’d be quite daring to go up to someone like this and even attempt to utter the word ‘hipster’. At least without prefixing it with the word badass.
