Tamera Mowry Counts Down To Due Date, Baby Bump Off Limits

Tamera Mowry-Housley took to her blog to talk about being pregnant for almost ten months, her due date and has finally become a bit fed up with the many hands reaching to rub her pregnant tummy.

The “Tia and Tamera” star has been expecting a baby boy for quite some time now, and according to the latest post on her blog it’s been almost ten months of playing the “waiting game.”

“I can now say that I am down to the wire,” the twin actress wrote on her blog. “I seriously feel like I have been pregnant forever. Almost 10 months to be exact! Thirty-nine weeks in and no baby yet.”

The trend of celeb babies teaching their mommies a thing or two doesn’t exclude Tamera’s unborn son either.

“If I have yet to learn practice, my son is in the process of teaching me now,” the soon-to-be mother added.

Just a few weeks ago both Alicia Keys and Beyonce admitted that their young ones taught them to appreciate the little things in life.

For Tia’s twin sister, however, right now she has been appreciative of every moment ever since she got pregnant, admitting that she has had a relatively easy pregnancy.

“I have been very blessed to have had a wonderful and easy pregnancy,” the Sister Sister star also wrote on her blog.

The easy, but very lengthy pregnancy isn’t unusual for first time moms either. Experts have revealed that in fact only a mere three to five percent of women actually give birth to their children on their due date.

In addition, the fact that the new reality star is a first time mom may also be delaying the process as experts have also explained that a woman’s first child tends to be born much later than the predicted due date.

According to the 34-year-old’s OB, “This has now become a waiting game.”

Luckily, the Twitches actress is no stranger to playing the waiting game.

In a recent interview with Ebony, Tamera and her husband Adam Housley agreed to be celibate while dating.

“We wanted to make sure that this relationship was what God wanted for our lives,” Housley’s wife explained in the interview. “[In order to know] if we are meant to be together, we said ‘It’s got to be God’s way and not our way.’… So our right way was the way we felt God wanted us to do it, which was being celibate.”

The twin starlet has been in the spotlight since she was a child, but even that didn’t prepare her for some of the cruelty that came her way after marrying Adam.

According to Mowry-Housely, several websites have become a platform for people to express their disgust with her being in an interracial relationship with the Fox News correspondent.

“There were certain websites who were just saying horrible things about the fact that we’re an interracial couple,” she explained. “It’s like, really? About that? … We didn’t even know the people.”

Despite the criticisms, Housley took to Twitter to defend his wife and didn’t let any of the comment affect the way he felt about his gorgeous bride.

The one thing he hasn’t been able to defend quite so well, however, is Tamera’s stomach.

The reality star recently revealed that it was easy for her to ignore the critics who had a problem with her interracial relationship, but enough is enough when it comes to strangers rubbing her belly.

“I can’t take it anymore,” the pregnant actress turned blogger admitted. “So, I can see the hand coming in slo-mo, and then I just quickly cover it… I just cover my belly with my hands, and I cover it before they can get to it, so what they do is touch my hands.”

Quite a clever trick, however, we’re all just hoping that the pregnant tummy won’t be there for anyone to touch soon and we can all just celebrate the Housley’s welcoming their new baby boy into the world.

Tamera confirmed her due date is next Tuesday October, 30th.
