Beyonce and Jay-Z visited their favorite Italian eatery in New York Saturday night for a lovely dinner date, while the president checks in to make sure Jay-Z is helping out with baby Blue Ivy.
Most Hollywood couples’ relationships seem to burn out after a year or so, but the hip hop mogul and the R&B queen are showing no signs of falling out of love.
Blue Ivy’s parents had been dating for at least six years before tying the knot, and despite being busier than ever, they still make sure they find time to enjoy each other’s presence.
The loving parents left baby Blue in trusting hands while they enjoyed a romantic evening together at Giorgio Ristorante.
Further demolishing any pregnancy rumors, the mother of one sipped on a glass of white wine along side the “Empire State” rapper as they sat out on the deck of the restaurant enjoying the New York sunset.
After the sun finally disappeared for the night, the two moved the date inside the eatery where they enjoyed their meals.
With the “Countdown” crooner officially booked to perform for the Super Bowl and Jay-Z focusing on several projects in the works such as his YouTube channel, the couple made sure they got to have a romantic evening with just the two of them before their schedules became too hectic.
Of course, the 42-year-old rapper better make sure he is helping out with diaper changes and other parental duties or the president will be sure to call him out.
After the megastar couple hosted a fundraising party for President Obama at Jay-Z’s 40/40 club, it’s no secret that they have a close relationship with the presidential family.
During an interview with Cleveland’s Z107.9, the 51-year-old president was asked about the nature of his friendship with the music moguls.
The commander-in-chief admitted that both he and Michelle are very good friends with Blue Ivy’s parents.
“I’ve gotten to know these guys over the first several years,” Obama answered. “They’re good people. They’re down to earth. Beyonce could not be sweeter to Michelle and the girls. So they’re good friends. They really are down-to-earth folks. We talk about the same things I talk about with all my friends.”
During the campaign fundraiser, the president made sure he checked up on the new parents, specifically the new daddy, to see if he was helping out with the not so glamorous side of being a father.
“I made sure that Jay-Z was helping Beyonce out [with Blue Ivy] and not leaving it all up to mom and the mother-in-law,” Obama added.
With parents like the New York rapper and the 31-year-old philanthropist watching over her in addition to the president checking in, it’s safe to say that Blue Ivy will experience a great childhood.
