Pink Prepares For Upcoming Tour After 55 Pounds Weight Loss

Pink is sharing her secret to losing the 55 pounds she gained during her pregnancy last year. The 33-year old singer, real name Alecia Moore, gained much of the 55 pounds from eating cheesecake.  “I ate a lot of cheesecake during those nine months,” she revealed in the November issue of Shape. “Also anything sour, Sour Skittles, Sour Patch Kids, Key Lime Pie.”

Over the course of 12 months Pink dropped the excess weight with the help of a rigorous exercise routine and a near vegatarian diet.

“Usually I wake up and do an hour of cardio, then an hour of P90X or yoga, then a half-hour of warm-up [during show rehearsal]. I do that six days a week.”

When not adhering to a vegetarian diet the “Get this Started” singer admits she will indulge in some chicken and fish, but only when the mood strikes.

Many celebrity mothers have gushed over their pregnancy and the subsequent hard work it takes to quickly drop the weight. While Pink loves being a mommy she candidly revealed that gaining the 55 pounds wasn’t pleasant,

“I thought I’d feel like a goddess,” she said. “They sell you on that s**t… like you’ll never feel more feminine. Really, I just felt like a mess.”
