Ewan McGregor recently signed on to the romantic comedy, Born to Be King, while Kate Hudson is in negotiations to play his ‘queen’. The Hollywood Reportertell us McGregor plays a movie extra (yea, like
THAT’s believable) in which he uncannily looks like a movie star. Hudson’s character, a real movie star, starts to fall for McGregor when she feuds with her current co-star. A little confusing, but I’m sure the movie will lay it out better.
McGregor has a very busy schedule coming up. The actor will appear alongside Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep, Benedict Cumberbatch and Abagail Breslin in August:Osage County. He also has a role in the upcoming Australian heist thriller on of a Gun. McGregor also stars in the modern day fairytale, Jack the Giant Killer Slayer, as seen here the movies’ release was just pushed to 2013.
Hudson isn’t yet confirmed for the role, but all signs point to yes. The actress can currently be seen in a six-episode arc on Fox’s Glee. Her next movie, The Reluctant Fundamentalist, co-stars Liev Shrieber and Kiefer Sutherland.
