Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith can put divorce rumors behind them as they prepare to host a fundraising dinner for the re-election campaign of President Obama. The Smiths will host the dinner at their gorgeous home in Calabasas, California.
The Smiths longtime business partner James Lassiter, Salma Hayek and of course the First Lady Michelle Obama are among the guests expected to attend the dinner scheduled for October 25th.
Guests can pay $2,500 per head or drop $10,000 for a chance to meet the guest of honor, Michelle Obama. The funds will be donated to the Obama Victory Fund.
Will and Jada can now join the prestigious list of other celebrities who have hosted dinners for Obama’s re-election. Beyonce and Jay-Z hosted a $40,000 per seat dinner last month that raised $400,000. Gwen Stefani, George Clooney and Sarah Jessica Parker have all hosted fundraiser events. Vogue magazine editor-in-chief Anna Wintour has hosted at least two events, one in London and another in the US.
Obama will go up against chief rival Mitt Romney on US election day next month.
