While ‘Tia & Tamera’ star Tamera Mowry prepares for the birth of her first child her twin sister Tia Mowry, who’s already mother of one, was crying over chopping off her hair.
The 34-year old actress stole the show on the red carpet at Variety’s 4th Annual Power of Women event last week. Mowry-Hardrict wore a gorgeous purple cocktail dress with a lace overlay and of course her gorgeous pixie cut. At the event Tia revealed she shed some serious tears over the chop but hasn’t regretted a moment of it.
“I cried! I’m just going to be honest with you, I definitely cried. A lot of people ask me, ‘What advice would you give to women who want to chop it off?’ I said, ‘Don;t think about it because if you do you won’t do it.’ But it’s very liberating and it definitely saves time.”
Tia admits of the many benefits of her new ‘do, having more time with her son Cree Taylor tops the list.
“I am so happy that I decided to cut my hair. It literally takes me three minutes to do my hair,” she said. “I get out of the shower, put some conditioner in it, and it’s just ‘let’s go’ and I love that! I think it’s very very important to find products that allow us to be able to have more time to do things like that. I like to spend most of my time with my child [to] savor these moments because they’re not a little tiny baby forever.”
Meanwhile Tamera Mowry-Housley who faced a Twitter attack from followers on her opinions over the vice-presidential debate is expecting her first child, a son, with husband Adam Housley later this month.
