New Clip from ‘Skyfall’ Shows Classic James Bond on His 50th Anniversary

The new clip of James Bond’s coming film, “Skyfall,” shows Bond at his most genius—escaping from crazy, heart-pounding, unbelievably dangerous situations without even wrinkling his tailored suit.

The clip shows Daniel Craig in a scintillating scene taking on a bulldozer, of all things. It’s a clip that first aired during the Olympics. Craig jumps onto the train as it’s being torn apart by the bulldozer. Craig lands inside the train just as the rest of it disappears. He pauses for a second and adjusts his cufflinks before he walks on.

It is classic James Bond.

“Skyfall” is hitting theaters on Nov. 7. The clip this week comes on the 50th anniversary of James Bond being introduced to the world—Dr. No premiered in London on Oct. 5, 1962.

In addition to the movie clip, this week saw the release of Adele’s theme song from the movie, also called “Skyfall.” The song has already been called an instant classic, one that will stand next to classic Bond songs sung by the likes of Shirley Bassey and Nancy Sinatra. Listen to the track here.

“Skyfall” stars Craig, Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes, Javier Bardem and Naomie Harris.
