Nicole Scherzinger and friend Chris Brown were forced to deny recent rumors of them sharing a kiss at an LA nightclub on Tuesday night. At first glance the photo easily gives the impression that the duo were getting cozy as Brown leans in with his face touching Scherzinger. It could also be that the ‘Yeah 3x’ singer was merely leaning in to shout something in the ears of the former X Factor judge. According to their reps that was precisely the case.
Scherzinger’s rep referred to Brown as an “old friend.”
“There is absolutely no truth to the ridiculous story regarding Nicole and Chris Brown. The photos that have surfaced are old friends who were trying to talk at a very loud club. I guarantee there will be no photos of them kissing. This is a non-story.”
Brown’s rep added, “No story here. They were not kissing. They are friends, have been for years and they were talking at a club with loud music playing.”
Fans of the respective singers will have to decide between the photos, the denial and the eyewitness account from the “source.”
“They were dancing close for a while and being all touchy-feely and finally Chris leaned into her. She put her head on his shoulder and they started kissing! I couldn’t believe Chis was being so obvious about it!”
