Rihanna has launched a new website, Rihanna7.com, which has a lack of content that has left the website’s viewers scratching their heads.
When Beyonce’s website became nothing but handwritten notes for a day, it was obvious that it was a happy birthday surprise from her friends and family, but the secret behind RiRi’s hand written website remains unknown… for now.
The website is nothing more than a black background with the letter R being formed from a collage of random words with “coming soon” scribbled across the bottom.
The words, which at first seem to just be a random list of words that were put together just to look interesting, seem to actually have a metaphorical meaning behind them.
A closer look at the large letter “R” reveals words like “What’s love,” “Break,” “Red lipstick,” and “Isis” which for one reason or another represent something about the Bajan beauty.
So perhaps the real message behind the collage is the fact that these things make up the R, the way you can imagine these things make up Rihanna?
Who knows?
One word scribbled inside the R read “Diamonds” which happens to be the “We Found Love” singer’s next single which is set to debut on Wednesday.
One thing is for certain, the website is definitely here to promote what will be Rihanna’s seventh studio album, hence the page’s title Rihanna7.com.
She hasn’t officially revealed the name of her next album, but rumors based on the mysterious website are leading fans to believe it may simply be titled “7.”
Despite everything the 24-year-old award winning R&B singer has been through this year the lyrics to her upcoming single are very “hopeful and positive.”
“It gives me such a great feeling when I listen to it,” the “Where Have You Been” crooner told Elvis Duran in reference to her upcoming single “Diamonds.” “But it’s about love and I just think the gears are a little different from what people would expect, I think. I’m excited about that. I’m excited to surprise them, sonically.”
While Chris Brown’s ex was excited to surprise her fans, Brown definitely surprised her with his latest tattoo choice.
According to an anonymous source the Battleship actress is “upset and shocked” by Chris’s new ink.
It doesn’t seem as if the risqué performer thought the tattoo was an actual depiction of her, but according to the source she believes the “love of her life” knew exactly what people would think if he got the neck ink.
“He must’ve known what people would think,” the unnamed source told British magazine Look. “But that’s typical of Chris he never thinks about anyone but himself. It’s a painful reminder for Rihanna of what she went through.”
Rumors were swirling around that the controversial pair were on the verge of getting back together. The “Talk that Talk” crooner even followed her ex on Twitter again on Saturday.
After their shocking VMA kiss, it seems like the new ink will be exactly the thing that keeps the reigning R&B bad boy and bad girl from reuniting.
“This has thrown Rihanna,” the source continued. “She’s been calling Chris to say the tattoo is sickening and she’s furious.”
