Chris Evans to Star in 'A Many Splintered Thing'

A recent article by nextmovie.com named Chris Evans to star opposite Michelle Monaghan in A Many Splintered Thing – the self proclaimed “anti-romantic comedy.”

The production for A Many Splintered Thing is in such early stages that Monaghan and Evans are the only two stars on the cast bill. No release date or supporting cast has been named.

What we do know is A Many Splintered Thing describes itself as “in the vein of Amelie and (500) Days of Summer,” which are two of the most clever films dealing with the subject of romance in the past 15 years. We also know it will be Justin Reardon’s directorial debut.

Chris Evans has been nothing but successful since his inclusion in Fantastic Four in 2005. He has gone on to star in such reputable films as Sunshine, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Captain America, and of course, The Avengers. Later this year, he will also star in The Iceman. A Many Splintered Thing is but one of three projects slated for the young star in the upcoming year.

Michelle Monaghan is somehwat of a different story. Sure, she’s gone on to feature in the latest Mission Impossible, Due Date, and Eagle Eye, but nothing has really suceeded in wowing audiences. However, she’s been nothing but busy as she is slated to appear in four films coming later in 2012 and another four in 2013.

As always, keep checking back for more information. More supporting  stars and story details are sure to emerge.
