Chris Brown's Mother Responds To Neck Tattoo Criticism

Chris Brown Tattoo – Twitter is running amok with jokes about Chris Brown’s tattoo on his neck that many believe resembles that of a beaten woman. Given the R&B singer’s history with ex-girlfriend Rihanna, it’s an odd choice…to say the least. But despite the theories Brown’s reps are denying it’s of the “Rude Boy” singer and she’s surprisingly remained quiet on Twitter. Rihanna’s Twitter updates were primarily about reflecting on the tragedy of 9/11.

Other’s however didn’t mince their words. Scottish comedian Frankie Boyle wrote of the tattoo, “Turns out that Chris Brown tattoo isn’t of when he beat up Rihanna. It’s a flash forward to when he kills her.” Yikes! Surely, the “Yeah, 3x” singer anticipated this kind of response. And now Brown’s mother Joyce Hawkins is jumping in to deter the negative responses and hopefully keep his fans intact.

ANGELS PLEASE NEVER BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU HEAR. TAKE A LOOK AROUND AND SEE HOW EVERYONE IS QUICK TO JUDGE, WHEN THEY DONT EVEN KNOW. I LAUGH AT THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL THE SAME. FOLLOW THE LEADER. FOLLOW THE LEADER IS THEIR MOTTO EVEN IF THEY DONT KNOW WHERE THE LEADER IS HEADED. ANGELS NO MATTER WHAT GOD WANTS US TO LOVE IN SPITE OF. I WILL CONTINUE TO FOLLOW HIS COMMANDS AND ONLY HIS.

So what exactly is that tattoo? “His tattoo is a sugar skull [associated with the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead] and a MAC cosmetics design he saw.”
