Heidi Klum and Seal were once known as one of the most loving couples in Hollywood, but according to various reports, their divorce will be a messy one. According to a report from Radar Online, the estranged couple is fighting over custody and division of assets. Klum requested primary custody of their four children, while Seal would prefer they have equal time with the kids. Klum also claimed they had no assets to divide, which Seal is also contesting.
Seal is worth $15 million while Klum is worth $70 million, according to the report.
Klum was recently involved in another legal dispute because Seal provided Leica, a digital camera company, with footage of their kids for one of their advertisements. Klum hired a lawyer and the videos were eventually removed.
“Heidi felt that the children had gone through enough since their parents split, and she didn’t want their private moments out there for the world to see,” said a source. “But Seal maintained he had every right to use his personal photos —and, moreover, that it was a done deal and out of his hands.”
Klum is also dealing with accusations of infidelity from her former husband. According to E! News, Seal is accusing the supermodel of having an affair with one of her bodyguards.
“That’s what happens when two people separate. They move on and that generally means other people in their lives,” Seal told TMZ. “I certainly don’t expect Heidi to become a nun. My main priority is the emotional well-being of our children and to be quite honest if there is going to be someone in their lives, I’d rather it be a familiar face.”
As Seal continued, his words for his ex and her alleged new love got nastier.
“I didn’t expect any better from him…but I would’ve thought Heidi would of shown a bit more class…before deciding to fornicate with the help, as it were,” he added. Klum’s rep denied the allegations and scolded Seal for his comments. “It is sad that Seal has to resort to this kind of behavior and spread these untruths about the mother of his children,” said Klum’s rep in a statement.
