Sylvester Stallone's Son, Sage Stallone, Died Of Natural Causes

Sage Stallone was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol when he died last month.  According to a TMZ report, the up-and-coming actor/filmmaker and son of Sylvester Stallone died of natural causes and had no drugs in his system.

TMZ reported that a source connected with the L.A. County Coroner told the site there was evidence Stallone had heart problems, and that such advanced heart disease was “unusual” for someone his age. He was 36 at the time of his death.

When Stallone’s body was found on July 13th, investigators found empty pill bottles in Stallones’s apartment.   His mother had speculated it may have been prescription drugs that killed him, because he was reportedly taking painkillers for dental surgery at the time of his death.

Stallone was put to rest in a private ceremony on July 21 in Brentwood, Calif.

His father spoke out about the tragedy during an appearance on Good Morning America saying. “It’s a horrible situation, but time hopefully will heal, and you try to get through it, but it’s just something that’s a reality of life.”

Sage Stallone first appeared onscreen as Rocky’s son in Rocky V. He also appeared in his father’s 1996 disaster film Daylight.
