Sabrina Bryan has become the 13th contestant for Season 15 of Dancing With The Stars. After winning the Viewers’ Choice vote the former Disney channel star will be partnered with Louis van Amstel to compete against 12 other couples for the coveted mirrorball trophy.
Bryan made the emotional announcement During this morning’s Good Morning America , telling anchors, “I am so excited. I’m getting teary eyed just right now.” The former Cheetah Girls beat out Carson Kressley and fellow Disney alum Kyle Massey to secure the final contestant spot. She expressed her feelings about snagging the victory over the other dancing vets saying, “It was a fight…we all three really wanted it. I’m the lucky one with some amazing, incredible fans that have really stuck behind me.”
The 27-year-old competed in Season 5 of Dancing With The Stars, but her week 4 elimination caused an outcry from fans because she was booted despite earning a perfect score dancing with partner Mark Ballas.
She will be competing against the likes of Kirstie Alley, Bristol Palin, Pamela Anderson and Emmitt Smith when the show returns on Sept. 24 on ABC. Maybe Sabrina Bryan will have better luck this time.
