Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln is getting quite the buzz as the countdown continues to the November 9 released date. Today, DreamWorks Studios has unveiled the official poster for Lincoln, Starring never work unless he wants to Daniel Day-Lewis as the title role. Sally Field, David Strathairn, David Oyelowo, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, James Spader and Tommy Lee Jones also join Lewis (a two time Oscar winner) to tell the story of our 16th President’s trials and tribulations while in office.
Lincoln focuses on Abraham’s tenure as President and the turbulent months he endured with seemingly incompetent members in his cabinet. With his moral courage, Lincoln tries to mend the divided nation, end the war, and abolish slavery, while his southern counterparts do everything in their power to keep the nation at war. His fiers determination and choices help change the path of the nation forever.
Lincoln is based on a book “Team of Rivals: The Political Genius Of Abraham Lincoln” by Doris Kearns Goodwin.
