Ellen DeGeneres Swims Into Dory Role In 'Finding Nemo 2'

The tables have turned on daytime talk show host Ellen DeGeneres. Usually being the one who ask the questions, she has this time found herself as the one being interviewed. DeGeneres is currently going through an interview process to possibly reprise her role as Dory in Finding Nemo 2.

Ellen has publicly lobbied several times, announcing that she would be thrilled if they decided to make a sequel to the first movie with her starring again. In the original Nemo, DeGeneres played the dorky character Dory, who was known for her short term memory loss.

Finding Nemo grossed more than 800 million dollars worldwide and set various box office records when it opened in 2003. The film followed a Clownfish called Marlin (Albert Brooks), who convinced the forgetful Dory (Ellen) to join him as they traveled across the ocean searching for Marlin’s missing son Nemo (Alexander Gould).

The Disney Pixar film Finding Nemo 2, is expected to be released in 2016.
