A new Resident Evil: Retribution trailer has come online to bring those who are lost about what’s been going on in the previous installments of the shoot-them-up zombie franchise. The featurette does a decent job summing up the story behind the main character Alice (Milla Jovovich) from the very first film to where she is in now in Retribution.
The clip begins with her origins as an Umbrella employee and maps her various progressions and transformations through the four previous films.
You may find that the confusion is not completely cleared up after realizing that many of the dead characters seem to have returned back to life.
But what remains clear from the new Resident Evil Retribution trailer is there will continue to be plenty of the the blood splattering action fans have become use too.
Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and co-starring Michelle Rodriguez, Sienna Guillory and Kevin Durand, Resident Evil: Retribution debuts in U.S. theaters (USA).
