R&B singer Brandy is going to bat for Chris Brown three years after he assaulted Rihanna. The public’s thirst for stories surrounding Chris and Rihanna’s relationship status, his relationship with longtime girlfriend Karrueche and any signs of the singer reverting back to his past has yet to subside.
Brandy who worked with the ‘Yeah 3x’ singer on her upcoming album believes it’s high time for everyone to move on and support Chris.
She said recently, “Chris Brown, at the end of the day, is a person and he is going through … his own struggles. I don’t think it’s anybody’s place to judge him. I just think we need to be a little more supportive of celebrities that are out there going through things in life.”
Brandy doesn’t stand alone in her support for Brown. British singer Cheryl Cole also implored the public to look past Brown’s previous behavior and focus on his talent.
In a TV interview, she said, “I think it’s time we all moved on. That guy is talented as hell.”

Meanwhile the Christian Post is reporting that Chris and Karrueche Tran have called it quits. The break-up rumors were of course sparked by the repeated Rihanna hook-up rumors and Karrueche allegedly making contact with Drake.
A source told the Post, “Everyone in the business assumes [Rihanna] and Chris are getting back together, and it is only a matter of time before they’ll be more public about it. It’s like she is testing the water — first they work on music together, then they hang out in a friendly way, so the public won’t be completely shocked when they step out together publicly.”
