Coolio’s Son to Serve 3 to 10 Years in Prison

Artis Ivey, rapper Coolio’s eldest son, has reached a plea deal to serve between three and a half to 10 years in prison after an armed robbery in Las Vegas last year. Ivey’s exact sentence will be handed down at his formal sentencing on September 12th.

According to dailymail.com, Ivey, 22, agreed to plead guilty to a single felony robbery charge. According to the police, Ivey linked up with a Las Vegas call girl, Shantrice Wilkerson, to rob a would-be client. Three days later, Ivey busted into a Vegas apartment with a gun and forced the man into a bathroom while he and Wilkerson robbed the place, taking two iPads, two laptops, passports and other items.

Coolie has yet to release a statement on the situation.

Ivey appeared alongside his dad on their reality show, Coolio’s Rules, which premiered in 2008 and focused on the rapper trying to keep his career going while being a bachelor and a single parent trying to raise four teenagers—Artis and his three sisters—by himself.
