Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z are setting trends with their daughter’s unique name Blue Ivy Carter. Nameberry compiled a list of the most popular names thus far in 2012 and Blue Ivy made the list. Coming at number 1 is the female character from HBO’s Game of Thrones, Arya. Beyonce’s baby girl landed at no. 10 on the list with an increase search of over 600 percent!
Aside from a few more babies being born with the name Blue, Beyonce spent time recording her Thank You message to the first lady Michelle Obama. If you recall two months ago Beyonce shared a hand written note to Michelle on her Tumblr page. This time around with the president’s re-election heating up the entertainer gathered some beautiful images of POTUS to make her message more powerful.
“She is a caring mother, she’s a loving wife, while at the same time, she is the First Lady,” Beyoncé says. “No matter the pressure, and the stress of being under the microscope, she’s humble, loving, and sincere.” In addition to her original note Bey added in the video,
‘I am so in awe of Michelle Obama. Every time I see her, she inspires me, she empowers me to live a healthy lifestyle, to support our veterans.‘
