Sylvester Stallone's Son Found Dead In Los Angeles Home

Sylvester Stallone’s son suffered possible drug overdose.

Sylvester Stallone’s son, Sage Stallone,  has reportedly been found dead in his home in Los Angeles California . Source say the cause of death was due to a prescription drug overdose.

TMZ reports that Stallone is extremely distraught. His rep, Michelle Bega, made a statement saying, “Sylvester Stallone is devastated and grief-stricken over the sudden loss of his son Sage Stallone.  His compassion and thoughts are with Sage’s mother, Sasha.  Sage was a very talented and wonderful young man.  His loss will be felt forever.”

According to Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter, there were no signs of foul play or trauma, and no suicide note was found. Although empty prescription drug bottles were found near the body, a cause of death was likely to take several weeks after an autopsy and toxicology tests are performed.
“He was in good spirits, and working on all kinds of projects,” George Braunstein told the Post. “He was planning on getting married. I am just devastated. He was an extremely wonderful, loving guy. This is a tragedy.”

Sylvester Stallone was at Comic-Con in  San Diego on Thursday to promote his new movie Expendables 2.

Sage Moonblood Stallone is the oldest of Sylvester’s children and made his first appearance on screen along side his father in Rocky V. After that, he went on to act in a number of films, most recently Promises Written in Water.

Stallone’s mother, Sasha Czack,  has also been notified of her 36 year old son’s death
