Miami native Chad Ochocinco finally tied the knot with his reality TV star fiancée Evelyn Lozada last night in his hometown. The wedding, which was held at a private home in Miami, had a small guest list of family, friends, and, of course, a VH1 camera crew.
According to Miami.com, the wedding was held in a private home because few hotels wanted cameras rolling on their properties, especially high-end venues. Many places in Miami have become annoyed with the “Basketball Wives” star Lozada and her business.
There is even a petition circulating to kill the filming of their upcoming VH1 reality show spinoff “Ev and Ocho.”
When asked why they picked July 4th as their wedding date, the Dolphins receiver tweeted jokingly, “So I’d never forget our damn anniversary.”
