Dan Aykroyd continues to be optimistic about the production of the struggling Ghostbusters 3 project. Last year, the actor mentioned that the film would shoot in the spring of 2012 with or without Bill Murray’s involvement. At this time the production for the film still hasn’t started.
Recently, WIVB 4 caught up with Aykroyd while he was at a Crystal Head Vodka promotional event in Amherst, NY. The Ghostbusters star revealed that a “new writing staff is working on it now,” adding that “it’s got to be perfect. That’s the whole thing. There’s no point in doing it unless it’s perfect.”
Murray also sung the same tune while appearing on David Letterman show last month after Murray was asked about his possible Ghostbusters 3 involvement. Murray answered, “You just have to have a really good script, you know, it’s hard” he told Letterman, “I think, you know, we’ll try again.”
The 60-year-old Aykroyd didn’t mentioned anything else about the movie, but more details are coming as they are reported…
