In a lavish ceremony at the Fountainbleau Hotel in South Beach, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback married his fiance, Kijafa Frink, who famously stood by Vick as he endured the infamous dog-fighting episode.
Vick proposed to Frink at her 29th birthday party in 2009. They tied the knot in front of about 300 family members, friends and NFL colleagues, including running back LeSean McCoy and head coach Andy Reid, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White, free agent wide out Plaxico Burress and retired New Orleans Saints quarterback Aaron Brooks.
The pre-wedding cocktail reception began before sunset at the outdoor, second floor patio overlooking the ocean. The vibe was relaxed, according to reports, with hookahs on the tables, R&B music blaring in the background and guest sipping on pink cocktails.
The post-wedding reception menu was, uh, eclectic: lobster and oysters and shrimp, but also chicken and waffles.
Vick reportedly spent $300,000 on security. Police were stationed outside the ballroom to collect the cameras and cellphones from guests.
