A full trailer for the upcoming biopic “Winnie” has been released, starring Jennifer Hudson and Terrence Howard as Willie and Nelson Mandela. The film focuses on the former South African first lady, from her childhood to her husband’s 27-year long prison term, and the year she spent in solitary confinement herself. The film is directed by Darrell Roodt, and premiered last year at the Toronto International Film Festival with a mixed reception. A widespread release has yet to be announced.
