Turn about is fair play, right?
Apparently so in the television world, too, where ratings spiker Oprah Winfrey, it was announced, will be a part of an upcoming episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. This comes two weeks after the popular clan — including Kim, Khoe and Kourtney and mother Kris Jenner were guest on the two-part special, “Oprah’s Next Chapter” on Winfrey’s OWN network.
You know how Oprah does it — she gets people to say what you have not heard before, and the Kardashians were not unlike most of the TV superstar’s previous guests.
For instance, on Oprah’s special, Kim revealed she was close to her boyfriend Kanye West because they could both relate to losing a parent at a young age. She said: “It’s very comforting to have someone that knows everything about you, that respects you, understands, has gone through the similar things. I can really relate to his mother passing. He can really relate to my father passing. I mean, there’s so many similarities in our life that . . . I feel like I’m at a really happy, good space.”
And how about Kourtney? She revealed that she and her boyfriend, Scott Disick, have made it because of therapy. “He’s grown so much over the years,” she said. “I love seeing him as a dad – he’s great with Mason – and I’m not saying that we’re perfect. We go to therapy, which helps us a lot. I think we’re always working to better ourselves, which I think a lot of people can do.”
Will Oprah reveal a long-kept secret on their show? One thing is sure, if the pattern holds firm: the highly rated show will get even better numbers with Oprah on it.
