Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Cast In Mad Max: Fury Road

After becoming an easy replacement for Megan Fox in Transformers 3: Dark Of The Moon, supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley had planned to focus more on her modeling career. It seems that plans have changed now that, according to Deadline, the British star has signed on to the cast of Mad Max: Fury Road.

The upcoming film has been in pre-production for several years, but things may be picking up since several cast positions have been recently filled.

Mad Max: Fury Road is reportedly a reboot of the original Mad Max movies, which starred Mel Gibson. This time Tom Hardy will be playing Mad Max and Huntington-Whiteley will be playing one of “five wives” being transported across the post apocalyptic wasteland. She will be joining Riley Keogh, Zoe Kravitz, and Adelaide Clemens as four of the five sister wives. The fifth wife has yet to be cast. Charlize Theron, who has shaved off her hair for the part, will star opposite Hardy.

George Miller will serve as director for Mad Max: Fury Road. The movie will reportedly begin filming next month in Africa after years of delays. There is currently no release date.
