Intruders were banking on Kanye West not being home when they entered his Los Angeles home this morning. The rapper is currently in Birmingham, England on his Watch the Throne tour with Jay-Z. According to reports there were occupants in the home during the burglary and they dialed 911.
Officer Richard French of the LAPD told Los Angeles Weekly, “I can confirm there was a burglary.” Another officer added the break-in took place around 6:30 A.M. in the 7800 block Fareholm Drive. “The owner wasn’t home at the time, and it is unknown if any property was taken.”
LAPD is still investigating.
