Lindsay Lohan Is More Than Ready To Start Shooting Elizabeth Taylor Biopic

Lindsay Lohan is gearing up for her on screen performance as Elizabeth Taylor. The young actress has completed a week of rehearsals for Lifetime’s movie Liz & Dick, which will begin shooting on Monday in Los Angeles.

“She is more than ready,” says the executive producer of the film, Larry Thompson. “All her clothes are made. All her jewelry is made. Come Monday morning, Liz and Dick will live again.”

He goes on saying, “This is really happening. This isn’t like making an appearance on Glee or spending a week on SNL. She is number one on the call sheet. She is the star.”

Last week, Lifetime revealed that Grant Bowler will portray Richard Burton. Lindsay and Bowler had their last rehearsal yesterday, June 2nd, with director Lloyd Kramer, who has worked in the past on several films for Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Productions.

“He is rehearsing them now and Lindsay is channeling Taylor,” Thompson says with confidence. “She is excited and so into it. She went from being unfocused to being totally focused now that the movie is up and going.”

Thompson adds, “When you see both of them in full hair and makeup, it is the definition of movie magic.”

Liz & Dick airs Nov. 3rd on Lifetime.
