Chaka Khan And Fantasia Catsuits Steal The American Idol Results Show

Chaka Khan, Fantasia Catsuits – Fantasia Barrino, 27, former American Idol winner, and legendary singer “Queen of Funk” Chaka Khan stole the show for the two-hour American Idol finale from this year’s contestants as the two battled it out on stage, not for their grandiose vocals, but for their attire—tight-to-death catsuits.

Fantasia started in an ill-fitted colorful sequin dress with an unusual wide neck that did nothing to flatter her curves as she arrived. The season three Idol winner showed with equally unusual flowing locks sans her short, funky haircut.

If eyebrows were raised for the red carpet appearance, then mouths dropped when the “Truth Is” singer hit the stage with 2012 finalist Joshua Ledet to perform “Take Me To The Pilot” in a dated black-and-red, sequin catsuit with sheer side panels.

Though Twitter and Facebook was livid for the crowning of Phillip Phillips as the 2012 winner, the night was overall outstanding with performances by Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Aerosmith, Reba, Neil Diamond, and John Fogarty.

Now, to that other catsuit worn by the newly svelte 59-year-old “Tell Me Something Good” Chaka who must have been feeling extremely good to wear the mocha brown catsuit that hugged every body part she had.

Khan performed “Ain’t Nobody”, “Through The Fire”, and “I’m Every Woman” with the Idol women giving everybody a run for their money—including Fantasia’s dated catsuit.

Before the show, the feisty singer was asked if she would be interested in being an Idol judge should JLo leave.

“Yeah, I’d do it,” she told Zap2It. “They could use some truth up there. A little bit of truth, honesty. I’d like that.”

What did you make of the women’s suited looks?
