Tia Mowry is sticking to her story—leaving the fan-favorite BET show “The Game” was a mutual decision and not because she was fired.
Just a day after the twin sister of Tamera Mowry visited the Wendy Williams show, news surfaced that neurotic “Melanie Davis” would not return to the show. When Tia visited the how-you-doing set she made no mention of the departure. Rather she discussed everything from her sex drive to breastfeeding her son Cree, who she brought out on the show, but nothing about leaving the show.
Did she know?
As a collective gasp of shock and confusion filled airwaves the following day, the mother of 10-month-old Cree Taylor, reiterated today on VH1’s “Big Morning Buzz Live” that the departure decision was a mutual one between she and the network simply because she has desires to work on other projects and that her stay on the show had ran its course.
“It was definitely a mutual decision. It was time for me to move on to other things like writing this book, and I just finished doing a movie on ABC Family, and then I’m working on the show with my sister, “Tia & Tamera”, which premieres June 11th.”
Sounds reasonable enough to us…but did she forget she had revealed to De De McGuire of the Doug Banks’ show something totally different?
“Wow!!! For all those that watch “The Game” on BET Tia Mowry just told me she was informed an hour ago that she was FIRED from the show!” De De tweeted.
Now there’s news that Pooch Hall, “Melanie’s” love interest on the show, is exiting as well. According to the Wendy’s hot topic team, the duo wanted more moolah, but was giving their walking papers instead.
What do you make of the abrupt exits of Tia and Pooch?
