Jessica Simpson couldn’t contain her excitement for her barely-a-week-old baby girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson, any longer! The Fashion Star mentor let her mommy pride take over just a week after birth and gave her Twitter followers a precious update on baby and mom.
“I am so in love with baby Maxwell,” the business mogul tweeted. “I want to cry every time I look at her. Motherhood is by far the best thing I’ve ever experienced.”
The billionaire entrepreneur gave birth at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles Tuesday morning on May 1 with fiancé Eric Johnson by her side. There was speculation that Simpson had gone into labor and was in hiding to hold out for the best supposed magazine offer for first pics of little Maxwell.
However, the “With You” singer was spotted out still very pregnant two weeks past her due date days before delivering the 9lb., 13 oz. little girl.
Thought the buxom blonde is a first-time mom, her maternal instincts went into high gear after Maxwell’s arrival.
“Everyone is marveling at what a natural Jessica is,” a source told US Weekly. “She was born to be a mom!”
