Last night “Saturday Night Live” opened with a sketch parodying Fox News morning show “Fox and Friends.” Even though the SNL sketch went to extremes, sometimes it was hard to distinguish the comedy from the real thing—demonstrating just how extreme Fox has become in portray a hard-right agenda when covering even non-partisan topics.
Taran Killam, Bobby Moynihan, and Vanessa Bayer went all out mimicking the Fox News trio of Taran Killam, Steve Doocy, and Gretchen Carlson. The sketch centered on several of the ridiculous questions thy have posed in an attempt to discredit President Obama.
When referencing the raid that killed former Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden, Moynihan exclaimed, “I can name one person who wouldn’t have launched that raid: Barack Obama!”
