Kim Kardashian may be the name that’s constantly in heavy circulation along with sisters Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, but the woman who heads the media machine behind the sisters is ‘momager’ Kris Jenner.
However, no one has gained a better footing than the notorious Kim. LOL! From a sextape that could have gone awry like many of the young ladies before (and after) her to her 72 day marriage, Kris (how the K-named sisters reference their mother) takes every possible bruise to their empire and embellish, often having her daughters come from public humiliations unharmed and with a well-heeled deal.
If nothing else the matriarch is shrewd and a force to be reckoned with.
Case and point: The dark-haired media maven took the opportunity to talk about another recent Kim rumor—Kim’s supposed interest in being a mayor for Glendale, California— at the THR and Google’s Pre-White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner Party. Instead of laughing off Kim’s as-a-matter of fact announcement, Kris took the opportunity to build her daughters case for becoming a mayor – just in case.
“I think somebody in Glendale was talking to her about holding the mayor position. I think Kim is so busy right now, but who knows. Stranger things have happened,” the Parisian mother-of-six said. “Actually, she would be amazing at holding office, because she’s so smart and she’s got the kind of personality that she can handle something like that, but I think right now, we’ve got our hands full at the moment.”
We would not be surprised if Kim Kardashian’s mayoral bid becomes a serious issue three years down the road.
Part of her brilliance is to leave all avenues open which resonates in her ability to ink a $40 million three year renewal deal with the E! Network.
“It was definitely the best decision that we have made. It’s such an amazing partnership and to be with E! and our whole family, it’s really great. We are really blessed and excited.”
You may hate the Kardashians but having Kris Jenner negotiate in your favor is not a bad look….at all. Doesn’t she remind of Olivia Pope from ‘Scandal’?!
