Beyonce Knowles has spoken her peace about those incessant fake pregnancy and surrogacy rumors that plagued much of her pregnancy with daughter Blue Ivy Carter. From that fateful Australian interview where her belly appeared to fold over, “It was a fabric that folded — does fabric not fold? Oh my gosh, so stupid.” – to what many believed was a fluctuating baby bump. Beyonce has finally decided to address to crazy rumors head on as more excerpts from her People’s Most Beautiful Woman interview are released.
“That was crazy. It wasn’t hurtful, it was just crazy. [I thought] ‘Where did they come up with this?’”
Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles also jumped in to reveal she was the one hurt by the cruel rumors,
“I thought it was very unfair and very cruel that someone would think that someone would be that diabolical to keep up a charade like that for nine months. As a mother it was painful for me to hear the crazy rumors. And I even had people ask me, which was so ridiculous.”
So there you have it. Beyonce was too filled with the love of Blue Ivy to care about the rumors. Good for her.
