Amanda Bynes Arrested For DUI…

Amanda Bynes was arrested this morning for driving under the influence of alcohol. After the actress got drunk she attempted to drive her car and later rammed into a police vehicle.

According to the police, Bynes hit the police car, which was sitting at a stop light located at the intersection of Robertson and Santa Monica Boulevard at about 3 a.m. this morning.

After the accident, the officer concluded that the What I Like About You star had been drinking and subsequently arrested her for DUI.

“A black BMW driven by actress Amanda Bynes attempted to pass the right of the radio car, colliding with the right rear quarter panel. There was minor paint transfer damage to both vehicles,” a police statement obtained reads. “Amanda Bynes was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence and booked at West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station.”

The actress was booked and bail was set at $5,000. Thereafter, she was released on her own recognizance and was issued a citation.

Bynes hasn’t received a court hearing yet but she will have to report back to the authorities at a later date.
