Jaleel White Slams DWTS Rehearsal Drama Reports

Jaleel White is downplaying what sources are exclaiming as a “tirade” during Dancing With The Stars rehearsal on Friday with partner Kym Johnson after she said “ouch” when he mistakenly stepped on her toe, assuming she overreacted, according to US Weekly.

“It was completely exaggerated,” White said of the alleged tirade.

Guess it depends on who you believe because a source close to the set said that White “got in her face,” called her an “idiot,” and “started going off on the producers and shouting about how they put him with a ‘stupid’ partner.”

Not only that, but supposedly the former “Family Matters” actor was so riled that Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver and dancing pro Mark Ballas tried intervening to which White returned fire for Ballas.

“You remind me of that annoying sitcom neighbor who gets into everyone’s business!”

But Ballas was up for the challenge.

“The producers stepped in and broke it up before it got physical, but they were really going at it – right up in each other’s faces!” the source said.

Jaleel didn’t speak on specifics, rather threw the blame on the paparazzi.

“We go to work every day, and there is an alley full of tabloid reporters,” says White. “It’s not fair to us and that’s life, and I hope people can see through it. There’s no drama in my life.”

Funny, no one is discounting the insulting attack on Johnson, only insisting the outburst is indicative of the atmosphere’s stress level.

“It basically didn’t have anything to do with Kym or her foot. He was just stressed out and ready to snap,” the source said.

We hope Jaleel gets his “stress” under control because this eruption along with the abuse claims his baby’s mother made last week doesn’t fare well for his reputation.

In an update, White spoke with 104.3 MYfm’s Valentine in the Morning once again being oblivious to his renewed celebrity status. “I had no concept what a tabloid…feeding frenzy this show is.”

“We definitely had a disagreement last week,” he admitted. “But our disagreement was over some of the choreography because she didn’t understand who Stefan Urquell was.”
