Rumors are flying around the blogosphere about Oscar nominated director David O. Russel being attached to the Sony Pictures and Atlas Entertainment movie American Bullsh*t.
The film produced by Richard Suckle and Charles Roven and written by Eric Singer, is about a con artist that’s in bed with the FBI to solve a government corruption case, that spans from Atlantic City to Washington DC.
Russel spoke out about the rumors saying,
“Reports that I am attached to American Bullsh*t are premature. It is something I am in early discussions on and I have great respect for Chuck Roven and Christian Bale. I am also developing other projects and have not chosen my next film.”

At this time, Russel is in the middle of production on The Silver Linings Playbook starring Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Robert De Niro and Chris Tucker. This film which is produced by the Weinstein Company is set to release November 21 2012.
