Beyonce Knowles stepped out with her two-month-old baby Blue Ivy Carter in tow and headed to the Prospect Park in Brooklyn to enjoy the springy weather.
As usual, the “Love On Top” singer had Blue bundled up beyond recognition. But Bey switched her look up for the outing, instead of her staggering skyscrapers and flouncing curls, the performer opted for black loafers with a rather casual ensemble of a stripe tee and black tights. She also opted for a slicked back do and larger-than-life gold hoop earrings. The look could have been boring, but she glammed it up with a cropped black leather jacket, circular shades, and eye-popping red lips.
Blue’s granny Tina Knowles went along for the excursion to meet up with other friends and their little ones. A bystander witnessed the group “chilling on the grass” with a “blanket out” while a football was being passed around by another group of people.
Speaking of grandparents, Matthew Knowles didn’t join that outing, but visited Blue a couple days before and belted out a tune for his youngest grandchild, he disclosed to a UK television show, “Lorraine” when asked about being a grandfather.
”I was with Blue Ivy two days ago, I had her in my arms and was singing a song I used to sing to Beyonce and then after I finished singing the song she kind of went, ‘Ahhhh.’ ”
Meanwhile, what was Beyonce specifically doing while picnicking with baby Blue?
“She was walking with her mom and the baby. It was a family day…She seemed relaxed and laid back,” the source continued. No one was bothering them at all!”
Later that night, Beyonce and hubby Jay-Z had a date night at Catch in Manhattan where they helped R&B singer Robin Thicke celebrate his 34th birthday a couple days early. Though Blue didn’t make that outing, it didn’t stop the new parents from babbling away about their pretty tot. The happy couple swapped stories with the birthday crooner, who has a son, Julian, with wife actress Paula Patton.
